Grief Circle

Charlotte Hueso

A quiet hearth in a noisy world…

BOOK HERE »

This is a space for every kind of grief.

The grief we expect, and the grief that blindsides us. The old losses that still live in the body. The fresh ache of what has changed. The private sorrows we have never had words for. The grief for someone we love, for a version of life we thought we would have, for the state of the world, for what is ending, for what we are becoming.

You do not need to be “good” at sharing. You do not need a neat story, or an explanation that makes sense. You can come exactly as you are: tender, numb, angry, bewildered, relieved, messy, quiet. All of you is welcome.

We will begin by arriving together, gently, and I will offer a thread of poetry to help us soften into the space. There will be a simple ritual to honour what is present, giving grief somewhere to rest outside of the mind.

And there will be ample spacious time for sharing and witnessing, with care for nervous systems and a steady pace that doesn’t rush anyone toward resolution.

This Circle is not about fixing or forcing silver linings. It is about companionship, permission, and the deep medicine of being seen. Come to be held, to listen, to speak if you wish, and to remember you do not have to carry it all alone. All grief is welcome. You are welcome.

EXPERIENCE

My path into this work has been shaped by years of training and apprenticeship. Everything I share in my work has been generously passed to me by my teachers along the way. I trained in women's circle facilitation with Sister Stories, and in circle facilitation with Mitle Southey of Gather. I am a trained grief tender, currently apprenticing with Nici Moon of The Grief Space. As an advanced somatic practitioner, I am also part of the training team at the Regenerative Alchemy Advanced Somatics School, and I am a qualified EcoNIDRA teacher. Underneath all of these threads is a single thing: a commitment to holding space well - to staying present with whatever arises, and to offering the kind of grounded, steady company that lets others soften and feel themselves again.
